At the heart of Everybody Sings is the intention of bringing people together into supportive, singing communities. Almost everyone who belongs has a story of some sort to tell about what it has meant to them to be part of one of our choirs.
For many of our members, singing together has provided a pleasant social outlet on a regular basis, an opportunity to improve their singing skills and have some fun, and a chance to make a significant contribution to the wider community through our charity work.
For others, singing in one of our choirs has helped them deal with the grief of loss, or loneliness, or the longterm struggle of chronic illness - their own or a close family member’s.
Sharan and Susan have bravely agreed to share their experiences and how much belonging to an Everybody Sings choir has meant to them.
