At All Together Now, we believe that singing is a learned skill so we welcome people at all stages of their singing development. If you love to sing, or think you would love to sing and genuinely want to learn, our choirs are for you! We aim for a high musical standard, and we provide skilled teachers and great support to help everyone get there together. As well as the opportunity to learn to sing well, our choirs offer great fun, a sense of community within each group and the wider organisation, and a way to contribute to our local communities by fundraising for charity.

"In the end, our choir is not just a musical ensemble; it is a place to
belong and be inspired. It's a reminder that when we come together, we
create something far greater than ourselves."
-Member testimonial
how to join:
There are two ways you can join:
1. Open Rehearsals, usually in the first week of every term:
The first rehearsal of each term is usually an Open Rehearsal. You are welcome to attend as a casual member, for which there will be a non-refundable $10 fee. You will need to register as a member (see below) and pay your $10 by bank transfer, ahead of the rehearsal (please allow 2-3 days for your payment to be processed). If you decide to join, your $10 will be held over as your joining fee.
2. Just join (no regrets!):
If you don't want to wait until the beginning of the next term, you can join at any time by completing the registration form and paying the full term fee before attending your first rehearsal. Make sure you allow enough time for us to give you access to our members' area so you can download your music beforehand - at least 2 to 3 days. If you do have regrets, as long as you let us know before the next week's rehearsal, we will refund your fees (minus the $10) and take you off the choir list. Easy!
WHICHEVER WAY YOU ARE JOINING, YOU NEED TO GO THROUGH THE REGISTRATION PROCESS BY CLICKING ON THE BIG BUTTON BELOW, AND FILLING IN THE FORM. YOU WILL THEN RECEIVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE NEXT OPEN NIGHT FOR THE CHOIR YOU HAVE SELECTED.
Fees, and what they cover:
Our membership fees are $115 per term for Auckland Choirs and $105 for regional choirs. Each term ranges from 8 and 10 weeks of rehearsals, plus any performances. From time to time, members are invited to join rehearsals in other locations at no extra charge.
New members are asked to pay a once-only, non-refundable $10 joining fee. (If you have joined via one of our Open Rehearsals, your $10 joining fee is covered by your attendance fee for that night.)
Included in your fees:
- All of your music (which you are responsible to download to your device, or print out and bring to rehearsals in a folder)
- Most songs have demo tracks available to help you learn new songs - these can also be downloaded to your device
- Any extra rehearsals that are required for particular events
- Weekly rehearsals during term times
- Access to this website, which includes the use of an app for our members
- Our leadership and guidance at events including our own concerts, VoCo, or any of the other special events we take the choirs to experience
- A highly qualified leadership team providing quality tuition
- The opportunity to sing in some exciting venues, often whilst raising funds for others in our wider community
- Membership of the New Zealand Choral Federation, which provides many resources and opportunities for our choirs and choir leaders
Fees are always paid in advance, by bank transfer or credit card, and are due one week ahead of the first rehearsal of term. You will receive an invoice ahead of the due date.
Fees are non-refundable except under particular circumstances. Please read more about our fees policy in our full terms and conditions
here.
Our current covid policy
We are now following a personal responsibility model for Covid, as for any other infectious illness. We ask members not to attend rehearsals if you have any symptoms associated with respiratory infections, unless you are certain they are from some other cause.
